Landscape Architect : Leeds Studio


Main Purpose:

DLA Architecture is one of the leading architectural practices in the UK, employing over 90 staff in 3 offices with a growing portfolio across a diverse range of sectors. Our creative designs are delivered to the highest standards of quality, technical compliance, and client satisfaction. One of our great strengths is our ability to deliver small complex projects to multi-million-pound schemes. We have the skills diversity and practical expertise to take a project from concept planning to completion on site.

We are looking for a qualified landscape architect to play a key role in the continuing development of the practice.

Reporting Lines:

Primarily reporting directly to the Team Director and other members of the Landscape team as required.

Our small landscape team, based in Leeds, provides nationwide landscape design services, working across a diverse range of sectors, both in collaboration with our architectural teams and on standalone landscape projects.

Expected Tasks and Responsibilities::

You will contribute to the running and development of the landscape business and be ambitious, with strong design skills and a track record in working on large scale multi-disciplinary projects. You will have the ability to work both independently and part of a creative team whilst being able to provide the lead landscape role where required. You must also be enthusiastic, self-motivated and keen to make a difference, with a passion for the delivery of high-quality landscape projects.

Qualifications

BA (Hons)
Degree/Diploma in Urban Design/Landscape Architecture

Chartered Member of LI

Software

AutoCAD / Adobe Creative Suite / Microsoft Office Suite

Experience

Minimum 5 year post qualification experience
Masterplanning/Public Realm Experience

Desirable:

Qualifications

Grad Dip

Software

Keyscape / Revit / Sketchup NBS Chorus or similar

Experience

Experience of the Education sector / Horticultural knowledge

Remuneration:

£35,000 – £40,000pa dependent on experience
