DLA were asked to develop proposals for a new student residential development in the centre of Lancaster, providing 500 study beds in clusters of three to six, along with a number of studios and communal facilities at ground floor. The site is located within a predominantly residential area and is bounded on the east by the Lancaster Canal. The client considered a number of sites in Lancaster, but this location was considered the most viable.
