The City Works project involved the redevelopment of a 14 acre (5.67 Ha.) site formerly home to a Ministry of Defence facility.

The scheme, which it is hoped will lead to the creation of 250 jobs, allows for the provision of 180,000 fs. (16723 ms.) of office and light industrial floor space.
