The masterplan for Wakefield Europort has been developed over several years, based on the excellent location of the site adjacent to the M62 motorway, and the intermodal rail link – the National Freight Distribution Depot – which was constructed at the outset.

The development provides over 300 acres (121.41 Ha.) of land for industrial and distribution uses for a range of national and international occupiers, now regarded as one of the most significant distribution parks in the North of England.

Extensive infrastructure (including off site highway and motorway improvements) and landscape works (including the provision of an environmental collar, amenity space, replacement playing fields etc.) were required to bring the site forward.

DLA have been involved with the design and implementation of major distribution facilities on Tuscany Park, and a range of industrial and warehousing buildings on Valencia Park.
