As part of the Morrison’s manufacturing estate, DLA were asked to look at repurposing the existing ‘live’ facility, this resulted in extending and modernising the existing meat processing plant at Deeside to improve process flows and increase production.
On an already crowded site, the major challenges included;

Finding the right location for the new deliveries & storage extension.

Phasing of the internal alterations & adaptations to ensure continuity of production.

Project delivery whilst maintaining a safe operating food processing facility.

Through close collaboration between the construction team and site operatives, the development was successfully completed without any loss in production.
