The Naburn Employment Park development is primarily structured around a landscape strategy and framework that seeks to retain key existing site landscape assets where possible and to enhance and connect boundary landscape features. The intention is to work with the sites existing distinct resources to create a unique sense of place within which new development can be brought forward.

This strategy has developed a Landscape Framework Plan that that is designed to create an interconnected and multi-purpose Green Infrastructure with integrated footpaths and cycle-ways, ecological features and enhancements and a sustainable urban drainage scheme (SUDS).
