RE:Cycle is a temporary pavilion designed and fabricated by the creative people of DLA Design Group to celebrate the Tour De France 2014. The form, created from 1258 recycled plastic bottles represents the challenging altitudes that the Tour De France Cyclists will experience during Stage 1 of the Tour.
During DLA Design’s Annual Summer Event, which took place on Friday 27th June 2014, a series of teams helped to construct the RE:Cycle pavilion in the reception area of DLA’s Leeds Office.
The RE:Cycle Pavilion showcases DLA’s ability to create playful spaces through a collaborative approach on a low budget within tight timescales and is a fantastic opportunity to celebrate Leeds hosting the greatest cycle race in the world – Le Grand Depart of The Tour De France 2014!
