Following a collaborative effort utilising a number of the specialist skills within DLA, the Leeds studio has recently submitted revised proposals for a 72 bed hotel within the Bakewell Conservation Area, situated between a grade II listed Workshop building and Scheduled Ancient Monument of the former mill race. A simple robust approach to the scheme design is proposed following consultation with Historic England to reflect the mill architecture of the former industrial site.
