DLA Design were commissioned by Maple Grove Developments to evolve a scheme concept for a former industrial site near the historic York centre.

The redevelopment of the site sees the creation of 2 new build interventions and associated landscaping, alongside infrastructure to enhance the surrounding environs, with a focus towards offering new high quality student accommodation with 326 bedrooms.

DLA’s interiors team worked alongside DLA’s architecture team to produce and develop outline specifications and concept design proposals for the amenity spaces along with finishes and colour scheme proposals for the main accommodation.
