DLA submitted a full planning application on behalf of Yorvale & Maple Grove Development for 262 student bedrooms within the Headingley Hill, Hyde Park & Woodhouse Moor Conservation Area and in close proximity of both Universities in Leeds. The scheme was designed to preserve and enhance the setting of the conservation area through the creation of contemporary townhouses that reflect local character. The scheme would see the creation of a 0.4 acre pocket park, which would provide much needed outdoor space for local residents in the immediate area along with the ability for social interaction with existing and future residents of the scheme.
