WOMEN’S REFUGE : LEEDS

Working closely with a local charity DLA utilised their multi-disciplinary skills to produce a community garden for both the mothers and their children at a local Women’s Refuge. By zoning the under-used and neglected garden we were able to provide areas for growing herbs, vegetables and fruit, areas for play and most importantly areas for relaxation.

With only a small budget it was down to DLA’s passionate people who provided design ideas, skill and labour to create a much loved space that provides relief to those in need of some time out.
