DLA Design have recently completed the refurbishment of the Worsley Building, which has been occupied by the University’s School of Medicine since 1979.
The refurbishment was designed to be a highly functional, vibrant and contemporary internal reorganisation to provide state of the art office, teaching spaces and ‘soft data rooms’ for data analysis, with the formation of a new cafe and main entrance to the building as part of these works.
DLA’s interiors team worked collaboratively with DLA’s architecture team and the Client to produce a new aesthetic for interior spaces, in a distinct move away from the institutional feel previously associated with this building.
