Society is demanding change and DLA is committed to adopting a socially conscious approach to the three pillars of Environmental, Social and Governance into all areas of our business and the projects we design.

As a practice, we challenge ourselves to design and specify responsibly whilst contributing to the economic development of our communities. To this end we set defined targets and using objective, externally assessed tools, track the Social Value we generate against the following five categories:

• Job’s Apprenticeships and Placements
• Workforce wellbeing, training and skills
• Supply chain
• Community, charity and other stakeholders
• Environmental

Our platform supports all the recognised standards including: The National TOMs Framework, United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), the 4 Capitals and the Government’s Social Value Model (PPN06/20). It is validated by SVUK qualified practitioners, accredited by Pagabo, and aligned to the HM Treasury Green Book.

As we continue to develop new ESG initiatives we look forward to sharing our progression and are committed to annually publishing the results of our efforts.
