REFLECTIONS ON EMERGING DEVELOPMENTS IN LEEDS – FILM

DLA Design and the RIBA recently invited delegates to join them at the new Central Square development for an evening seminar which explored emerging developments and the changing landscape of Leeds City Centre.

Guest speakers helped to stimulate discussion with short presentations about key developments in the City including John Orrell, Group Director, DLA Design & Jo Fairfax, Public Artist, speaking about Central Square; Friedrich Ludewig, Director, Acme on Victoria Gate; and Martin Farrington, Director of City Development, Leeds City Council, who provided a city summary outlining recent progress and future opportunities for growth and development.

The event was Chaired by David Rudlin, Director of URBED and was followed by a drinks reception on the impressive Central Square Sky Garden level with expansive views across Leeds.
