Chris Levett

Job Role: Board Director

About:

Chris is an architect and Group Board Director. After joining DLA in 2004 he has led the London studio from its inception championing design quality and building long lasting client relationships. This has seen growth in the studio’s main sector areas of Homes, Workplace and Education.

In particular he has developed a detailed understanding of mixed-use developments in urban locations. His focus in this area is on community led solutions, bespoke to the local context with each project reaching an understanding of the unique local history, local connections, and the community’s own aspirations for regeneration.

His approach is to fully understand the client’s perspective and translate this through his project leadership, utilising his strategic thinking to maximise opportunities.

Chris has demonstrated this creativity through numerous projects across the UK including the winning RIBA International Design competition for a new cultural centre in Northwich, the Hackney Gardens community project, the Equipment Works in North London, a central part of the Blackhorse Road regeneration masterplan and the extension to the Museum Building at the All England Lawn Tennis Club in Wimbledon.
