Jason ensures the successful delivery of schemes from early-stage inception through to completion, providing comfort to clients with a level of consistency and continuity through all work stages. He brings along a wealth of experience to all projects, having worked in all sectors, by influencing designs as they emerge, applying technical rigour, commerciality, and practicality from the outset. Having a proactive, hands-on approach, Jason provides a guiding hand to clients and contractors alike, having an ability to understand and implement the client’s and other interested parties ’needs’ throughout the life of the project.

Jason’s diverse portfolio highlights include; the successful delivery of Central Square – a flagship 220,000 sg.ft, BREEAM Outstanding, speculative office development in Leeds City Centre, Vangarde Shopping Centre, York – a high quality out of town retail development, a new East Stand for Leeds Rugby at Headingly forming part of DLA’s wider masterplan, Trinity Walk in Wakefield – a major retail city centre regeneration scheme and HSL Buxton – a state of the art purpose built Science and Research Centre.

In addition, to his project role, Jason manages one of the Leeds Studios and was instrumental in the development of DLA’s internal Management System. Having a passion for fire related matters, Jason heads an internal ‘Fire Team’ that takes a proactive look at the changing legislative landscape, its impact on design and specification, by educating the project teams across all offices and moreover how the industry needs to adjust to meet tighter standards.

Away from work, family and friends occupy Jason’s spare time. Sport and music have always been a big part of his life and remain so to this day. An avid guitar player, he describes his style as ‘rustic, but without the charm’.
