Your professional development

This ensures members are up to date, competent and capable of undertaking their role while developing knowledge and new skills.
We host regular in-house CPD events, keeping staff abreast of industry changes and innovations in the industry. Opportunities for training and career development are supported and staff are provided with time to discuss projects and practice outside of their immediate teams.
Our specialist working groups provide an opportunity for staff to deepen their knowledge on specific issues through round table discussions and presentations.

Scholarship Scheme
We recognise that studying for an architectural degree can be a challenging time as you focus on developing architectural philosophies and creative approaches to problem solving. Therefore, we have established the DLA Scholarship Scheme to offer students financial and developmental support throughout this period with a view to satisfying their longer-term career aspirations following graduation.
A number of opportunities are made available each year for Part I and Part II architecture students, and future Technologists to join the practice and grow with us.
