Design Meets Delivery: Building Smarter Together

In October, we partnered with Glencar to deliver a presentation at the Industrial and Logistics Conference.

Ben Gavaghan and Grigory Grebennikov presented a whistle stop tour for carbon consideration and reduction methodologies through design and delivery.

This included how these considerations may impact the industrial and logistics sector moving forward and why collaboration between design and delivery teams are critical to success.

Ben Gavaghan was pleased to be invited onto a second panel later in the morning to debate the design of modern industrial and logistics buildings alongside Alistair Smith from Caddick Developments, David Wells from HBD and Stuart Murray from Harworth.

The debate centred around:

·         A requirement for more sustainably aware and colleague-centric industrial development

·         Soft landscaping playing a central role to these spaces while assisting in BNG

·         Approach to BNG is complicated – offsite vs onsite gains
