Leeds Arts University – Phase 2 – Site Progress

Leeds Arts University – Phase 2 is currently progressing at a pace on site with main contractor RG Carter.

The scheme comprises a two-storey new build extension and refurbishment of the existing buildings ground floor space to provide a new food court social space and new specialist studio spaces, together with class leading Ensemble rooms to enhance the facilities and courses offered by the University. This follows on from Phase 1 which was previously designed and delivered by DLA in July 2018.

The form of the building and internal spaces are taking shape, and we’re eagerly awaiting installation of the bio-solar green roof, green wall and a mass of PV arrays to satisfy the Universities own sustainability and bio-diversity targets.
