Winner – British Council for Offices ESG National Award
We are thrilled to have worked on a such an incredible concept with such a forward thinking client and team.
One Strawberry Lane’s ground floor is a dedicated community space, hosting social value activities and utilising a carbon monitoring tool that saves 6.5 tonnes of CO2.
Its sustainable design and enhanced facilities exemplify the future of ESG-led developments and their positive community impact.
The project pushes the boundaries of social impact, transforming the workplace into more than just an office. Validated by the Social Value Portal, it delivers a 44% social value return, three times the national average for similar projects.
Since opening, the building has become a community hub, with four like-minded groups moving in and 1,500 voluntary organisations benefiting from free workspace. By integrating public and corporate use, the space challenges traditional office models, generating income through corporate events to support community activities, with 88 events hosted in the first 11 months.
