22 – 24 Bruton Place: Planning Secured

We’re excited to announce that @DLA, on behalf of our client @BEAM, has secured planning permission for the retrofit and extension of no. 22-24 Bruton Place. It was approved unanimously at the committee meeting, where the submission was praised for its #high-quality design.

The project will create around 4,500 sq ft of #best-in-class office space with #sustainability at its heart, targeting an EPC A and #Net Zero both in terms of the upfront embodied carbon and operationally in use. The development will #retain and #refurbish the existing concrete structure and brick façade.

The reconfiguration of the building’s core will enhance its interior quality and accessibility. The conversion of the garage into a retail space will activate the street frontage. The standout feature of the development is the folded mansard roof extension, offering a #unique vaulted office space, while also responding to the sensitive #Conservation Area context.
