Gia San Tu

San completed her Part 2 at the Bartlett School of Architecture and joined DLA at the beginning of 2024. Prior to joining the London office, San was undertaking freelance work designing a plant collector’s house, which its currently under construction.

During her Part 1 she gained experience in residential and conservation projects. She has been involved in academia writing publications and participating as a guest critic for the Architecture and Interior Architecture departments at the University of Westminster, as well as having a role as a design tutor at the Bartlett. With a passion for the making, she has previous experience as a professional model maker.

As someone of mixed and minority cultural heritage, she is dedicated to crafting spaces that not only embrace but safeguard diverse cultures and languages. Beyond architecture, San possesses a collection of rare tropical plants and is committed to researching various propagation techniques and environments.
