Paula White

Architect

Paula is a Project Architect with over 20 years of experience working within the Education sector and has gained a high level of knowledge from concept to completion for projects up to £45m in value.

Paula’s experience in the education sector is extensive and covers nursery, primary, special needs, combined schools, secondary schools, sixth form colleges and further/higher education projects. More latterly, she’s been working on the Performing Arts Stage building at UoL combining this with the delivery of Performance Arts buildings at the University of York. She has worked alongside several main contractors and the onsite delivery of successful projects. In recent years Paula has been heavily involved in the development of Modern Methods of Construction (MMC) and offsite solutions.

As an RIBA ambassador Paula has participated in various workshops held within schools to provide support, encouragement and awareness to children and students who maybe interested in joining the industry, more notably women in construction. She has also presented at several events to share her knowledge concerning MMC and standardisation within the education sector.

When not in the office Paula is most likely to be seen out in the garden in her wellies and gardening gloves. She also enjoys art, culture, sunny beaches and a good walk.
