Tom joined DLA in 2022 having gained an undergraduate degree in Architectural Technology and a Masters in Architecture in Cape Town, South Africa. He soon after moved to the Northwest where he’s lived and work for the past 10 years.
His skill set ranges from project concept and feasibility to technical delivery having worked on a range of projects during his time at DLA across a variety of sectors. He is an active contributor to BIM development at DLA, is a member of The Employee’s Forum and works on the Sustainability Group North. He is also the First Aider in Manchester.
Tom grew up sailing and surfing in the waters of Cape Town. The lack of waves in the North West has meant sailing has been prioritised. He is a qualified Coach and Instructor and regularly competes across the region.
