Luke Sach

Associate

Luke joined DLA in 2016. He has extensive experience within the residential sector (PBSA, PRS & BTR), with ongoing, significant expertise in high rise residential projects. Working with projects from conception to through to delivery, Luke has also delivered projects within the industrial and commercial sectors. His knowledge of new build and re-use/refurbishment projects allows him to take a holistic view of the possibilities for any project.

An experienced Revit user, Luke has led and coordinated the BIM requirements on several projects while working alongside senior colleagues to test and implement several project, design & modelling protocols with a view to improving DLA’s project workflows. He has also been actively involved with the testing and implementation of BSA Gateway requirements of High-Risk Building (HRB) projects.

Luke is currently the incumbent President of the Leeds society of Architects, curating, organising and leading a number of large scale events / programmes over the last few years, including the ‘RIBA Stirling Stories: North’ event which welcomed a pack-out crowd of 230 guests, to The Everyman Leeds.

A keen interest in experiencing new places and cultures was sparked by a year working in Dubai during his Part I placement. His travels have since taken him to Indonesia, Mauritius and Barbados.

Luke is a friendly member of the team who thrives in both social situations and 1-2-1’s. Always happy to volunteer and get involved with activities, both at work and outside the office. Tough Mudder and the Leeds 10k Abbey Dash to name a few.

Surprisingly he makes a mean chocolate cake, a favourite by everyone in the office on charity bake sales.
