Marguerita Kyriakidis

Marguerita studied at Glasgow School of Art, graduating in 2013. She then went on to undertake her Part III at the Bartlett in 2014, qualifying as an Architect in 2015. She has worked at DLA since 2022.

Over the years Marguerita has gleaned experience in several sectors including conservation, heritage, residential, commercial and education. She has worked on many projects across central and greater London, as well as in Kent. She has a particular interest in existing buildings; preservation, re-use or re-purposing, and has recently undertaken the RIBA Conservation Course, which is the first step towards conservation accreditation. Marguerita is also the Mental Health First Aider for the London office.

Skilled in problem solving and working with an existing fabric and context, Marguerita has an interest in heritage projects, and projects that feature a hint of nostalgia. She particularly appreciates buildings that successfully and sensitively juxtapose old and new.

As Project Architect, Marguerita is adept at project running, which requires co-ordination skills, excellent communication, and team management. She is passionate about design and enjoys working on a project from conception to delivery, maintaining focus on design quality and sustainability throughout, whilst delivering robust solutions.

Outside of work her interests include frequenting music events, snowboarding, wild swimming and going on long walks with her dog Skye. She loves to travel and is happiest either on a mountain or on a beach. Her goal is to visit at least one new country a year and she has so far ticked off 50.
