Adam Atraktzi

Associate

Adam is an architect & designer joining DLA in 2019 where he has built upon his expertise in commercial development and retrofit projects. He also has experience in new build cultural and high education projects.

Passionate about design, Adam is experienced in taking a project from concept through to completion with a keen focus on maintaining conceptual clarity and design quality throughout.

A keen advocate for environmentally conscious design from the outset, Adam encourages hard-wiring sustainable principles into a project from concept stage whilst promoting the use of sustainable materials in execution.

Adam enjoys a wide range of inputs into design challenges, such as trades and crafts people, but also through constantly researching new materials, global trends and diverse perspectives.

Outside of work Adam continues material research through experimental sculptural design, which continues the theme of the environment through digital and material craft and has enjoyed several exhibitions and grants.

He has also been a guest lecturer in architecture and interior design (at undergrad and post-grad levels) in many major universities in London and the UK.

Adam uses and trains his colleagues on several different tools such as Revit, Rhino, Blender and the Adobe Suite.
